Since the launch of Coco Kaboo's Itchy Bark Treatment we were asked when would we be releasing a shampoo that would to help when you have no choice but to clean your dog.
We still only recommend washing your dog when a good wipe down with some baby wipes won't do. At most it should be every 3-6mths or when they roll into something completely gross.
Washing more often than that, can dry our your dogs skin and disrupt their natural microorganisms living in a symbiotic relationship with their host. This disruption can actual make your dog even more stinky and potentially contributing to skin diseases.
Other factors that can effect your dogs skin can include things in their environment such as grass or plants in your area. The food they eat or even their genetic makeup. Itchy Bark Shampoo will help to provide an all natural product to help maintain and reduce outbreaks.
And while you still need to get to treat the underlying cause, you need something to help get the symptoms under control in the meantime

Our all natural vegan friendly shampoo Ingredients include:
- Purified Water (yep some water)
- Potassium Oleate* (which is a natural constituent of vegetable oil)
- Potassium Cocoate ** (derived from Coconut oil)
- Potassium Olivate*** (derived from Olive oil)
- Glycerine (derived from vegetable oil)
- Potassium Citrate (derived from vegetables, fruits, nuts or legumes)
All derived from oils of Organic origin and then blended with 6 pure medical grade essential oils known for their antibacterial, antihistamine and anti-inflammatory properties
*Vegetable source ** Derived from Fair Trade Coconut Oil ***Australian sourced Organic Olive
Instructions for use:
PRECAUTIONS. Do not use of the face, as the product contains essential oils that may irritate eyes. If shampoo enters eyes flush thoroughly with clean water. Seek veterinary advice if eye changes are observed.
Wet dog thoroughly. Use sufficent shampoo and rub into the coat to form a lather. Once massaged in leave for 2 mins before rinsing off, Then repeat. Once washed, apply. Itchy Bark Dermatitis relief oil to affected areas as directed.
