Australia’s Leading Pet Sensitivity and Intolerance Test for Dogs helps identify possible food and environmental triggers linked to ongoing symptoms such as itching, licking paws, ear irritation, tummy issues, inflamed skin and excessive scratching. Designed specifically for Australian pets and environments, this gentle, non invasive fur sample test checks over 330 food items and 100 environmental triggers commonly found in Australian households.
Comprehensive Testing for Australian Dogs
We assess not only common allergens but also ingredients and environmental factors unique to Australia, including native plants like Wattle, Eucalyptus, and Frangipani. Our test covers 330 food ingredients from top Australian brands such as Black Hawk, Big Dog Raw, Frontier Pets, Hills Prescription Diet, Ivory Coat, Lyka, Eureka, Ziwi Peak, Meals for Mutts, Optimum Pro, Petzyo, Prime 100, Royal Canin, Stockman & Paddock, Zealandia and more. We also check for 100 non-food sensitivities, including everyday items like tennis ball felt and nylon toys. This makes our pet intolerance test Australia’s most comprehensive option for caring pet owners.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a pet allergy and a pet intolerance?
Traditional allergy testing usually looks for severe allergic reactions, including reactions that may lead to anaphylaxis. Our Pet Intolerance and Sensitivity Test is different. It looks at food and environmental items that may be contributing to ongoing symptoms like itching, licking paws, red skin, tummy issues, ear irritation and inflammation.
What symptoms can sensitivities and intolerances cause in pets?
Some pets may experience symptoms such as:
• Itchy skin
• Paw licking
• Ear irritation
• Redness
• Scratching
• Upset stomachs
• Excessive shedding
• Scooting
• Inflamed skin
• Recurring skin problems
How is the test completed?
The test is completed using a small fur sample from your pet. No needles, blood tests or stressful vet visits are required.
What does the test check for?
Our Australian focused testing checks over 330 food items and 100 environmental items commonly found in Australian households and environments.
Can puppies be tested?
Yes. Puppies can be tested. However, because the immune system and body are still developing, some owners choose to retest again once their pet reaches maturity.
Does this replace veterinary care?
No. Our testing is designed to help identify possible intolerances and sensitivities that may be contributing to ongoing symptoms. It does not diagnose diseases or replace veterinary advice.

So glad I found a recommendation for this company! I have already passed it on to 3 others with allergic dogs. Our boy, in just 2 weeks of food changes has shown significant progress and has stopped itching, which I never thought he would do. such a simple process for such big rewards 🙂 thank you again Coco Kaboo ❤️ 🙂

I put my hand up to foster a little bloke, when he was surrender with puppy strangle . We did the pet intolerance and sensitivity test and found out everything he could possibly react to. We then change him to a complete raw diet based on their recommendations and improved environmental factors for him.
We started included the Pawsitiive Colostrum Care and topically treated him with Itchy Bark. 5 weeks later, other than tear stains, this little man’s skin is perfect. He is only a couple of weeks away from going to his new forever home and I am so proud of what we have been able to achieve with him.
Anyone who has ever had any doubts about getting the hair analysis done, use this as your wake up call of what you can achieve.

First two weeks after receiving test results from hair analysis and making diet and lifestyle adjustments we didn’t see a lot of changes but week three! WOW barely any scratching or gnawing going on. This is the best he’s been in two years.
Was well worth doing Fully recommend it

Before Coco Kaboo, my dog was incredibly itchy, anxious and had started to loose fur all over his back and legs from his biting and scratching at his hot spots.
I’d been recommended steroids, the Royal Canin allergy food and cytapoint injections and unfortunately, nothing had a lasting effect on his symptoms. The cytapoint literally lasted a week.
As a last ditch effort before going to the dermatologist, I did my own research on alternatives and discovered Coco Kaboo. I ordered a hair analysis report which the highlighted the foods and environmental factors which were affecting him. Things like polyester and latex (all his toys) then food ingredients such as brown rice, which I would have never guessed, were highlighted in the report amongst many others.
By removing all of the things from his diet that agitated him and reducing the ones in his surroundings as much as I could, he started to improve dramatically.
I also bought the colostrum and that has been a game changer for his anxiety, helping to keep him more calm and relaxed. I can tell when I’ve missed a day!
All his fur has grown back, he is happy and healthy and his scratching has reduced dramatically.
I can now manage his grass intolerance with only a histamine a day (we have a lawn which he of course loves) whereas prior to Coco Kaboo he would have needed steroids to keep the scratching at bay.
I’m incredibly grateful for the Coco Kaboo team and I recommend them and their products to literally everyone I see, especially if their dog is scratching.
Thank you, I’m incredibly grateful for how you’ve been able to help my boy

Opie has been taking apoquel for 2 years as we could not work out what was causing his dreadful itching. We had taken him down to one protein (kangaroo) and tried so many other things. Nothing worked.
The Coco Kaboo sensitivity test showed that Opie had sensitivity to all of the things we had been using to reduce his itching…kangaroo, aloe and even his probiotics!
As soon as we removed these things he stopped itching!
Amazing! No wonder nothing was working.
I am so grateful. Thank you 🙏

Easy process to collect and submit hair samples and a comprehensive report provided (it took about 5 weeks after sending off the samples). A super affordable option compared to other companies.
